Dale Winchester (President) - Dale Winchester has been involved in the irrigation industry for nearly 40 years. His first job in the city engineer’s office gave him his start as he was assigned to automate the irrigation system for the Tooele city cemetery. Through this simple project, he found an interest that would turn to a passion for his lifetime.

Mr. Winchester has experience working on all sides of the industry. He worked as the irrigation manager for the Toro distributor in Utah where he earned the award for Master Salesman. He spent nearly 10 years as the sales manager and vice president for Mid-Continent Engineering / Kessler International, one of the pioneers in the pre-fab pump industry.

After several requests for his services from distributors, superintendents and architects, Dale decided to go out on his own. Dale Winchester and Associates, Incorporated was founded in 1986 as one of the first full service irrigation consulting firms in America. Since that time, Dale and his staff have designed and consulted on over 300 golf courses worldwide. Dale’s experience and expertise have made him the choice of Palmer Course Design Company, where he has served as their consultant for 18 years as well as helping many other leading architects and superintendents across the world.

Dale is a member of the American Society of Irrigation Consultants (ASIC), Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), Intermountain Golf Course Superintendents Association (IGCSA) and a licensed Texas Irrigator.
